5 differences between inter-city move and local shifting

Well, let us start with the obvious. An inter-city move of items over long distances, possibly in different states will be costlier than local shifting. The former includes transport costs, taxes etc. It is the most formidable reason for people not move to a new city. They usually overcome this only on getting married or getting a really good job.

Local shifting is a single day work. You pack things early, move to your new home and start unpacking. It is rare for things to spill over the next day. An inter-city move is usually a process which takes around fifteen days. The time may vary depending on how far or how remote a city you are moving to.

An inter-city move requires good planning to estimate when your items will arrive. This will tell you how long you will have to live in a new place without them.
